Hi, I'm Jackie, and I'm honored to have you here!
Allow me to introduce myself:
I've been married to my wonderful husband for 21 years, and am mom to 4 amazing humans, ranging in age from 12-20. The first three were born in a hospital, and the last at a birth center. Having experienced both in and out of hospital birth myself has given me greater insight as to what kind of support is needed in each setting. ​

I was certified as a birth doula with Childbirth International in 2017. Since then, I’ve attended over 30 home, birth center, and hospital births, including 3 vaginal breech births and VBAC.​​
My view on birth is rooted in the belief that women are divinely designed to not only be well capable of giving birth, but also to be able to actually enjoy the experience, free of fear or trauma. This requires a whole person approach that agrees with original design--spirit, soul, and body. Embracing timeless, effective, and wholesome practices--from nutrition and diet to healthy, loving relationships and community, emotional well-being, and faith--is key to seeing optimal outcomes.​​

"I am so blessed to have had Jackie as my doula in April of 2017. She is a dear friend and sister in Christ whom I looked to for spiritual and physical support before and during my labor. This was my second VBA3C and my first time to deliver outside of the hospital and in a birthing tub - talk about an amazing experience! I was so thankful Jackie was by my side; she is a mom herself, so she understood the journey I was on. Having a doula is like having a sister there when you need her the most!

This was one of the verses that I meditated on the most when I was pregnant and especially during those last couple of weeks. When I needed reassurance during the last days of my pregnancy Jackie was just a phone call or text away and was so encouraging. She supported me in my decisions, cried and laughed with me, and most importantly, prayed with me. She came to the birthing center as soon as I knew I was in labor and was a source of peace and strength to me during my labor and delivery. I know that God placed her in my life at exactly the right time and I am ever so thankful that he did! This birth was one that I had always dreamed of and Jackie was a key part of it! I highly recommend her doula services!"
